How Can We Prepare Students for the Age of Artificial Intelligence?
Founded by former Olympic swimmer Yvette Kong, Arelyx (奧臻) has recently launched Hong Kong’s first “Transversal Thinking” Workshop, an innovative program that integrates creativity, resilience, and ethical leadership to help students transcend subject boundaries and turn challenges into opportunities.
Supported by the MTR Corporation and the JESSICA Foundation, the initiative is open to local secondary schools, international schools, and SEN schools, ensuring that students from diverse backgrounds can all take part.
The workshop features immersive, hands-on experiences, inviting students to confront real-world challenges, such as the integration of AI into classrooms, through collaborative problem-solving and creative thinking, and to express their solutions through visual arts.
Yvette shared, “Young people in Hong Kong are facing new challenges that cannot be solved with old answers. Transversal Thinking equips them with the tools to adapt and create, which are the essential skills for the AI era.”
